Climate
Climate
The main thermostat is located in the hallway near the bedroom. Set to your preferred temperature using the dial — we recommend 21°C for comfort. The fireplace is electric and operates via the remote on the mantle. Press the flame button to ignite and use the +/- to adjust heat output. Ceiling fans in the bedroom and living area have pull-chain controls — one pull for high, two for medium, three for low.

The living room TV is a 55" Samsung Smart TV. Use the silver remote on the coffee table — press the Home button to access Netflix, Disney+, and Prime Video. The Bluetooth speaker on the bookshelf is a Marshall Stanmore. To connect, hold the Bluetooth button on top until it flashes, then pair from your phone. Board games and puzzles are in the basket beneath the TV console — perfect for a cozy night in.

The Keurig coffee maker is on the counter — we've stocked a variety of K-cups in the drawer below. The French press is in the upper cabinet for those who prefer a manual brew. The dishwasher tablets are under the sink. Please run a load before checkout if you've used dishes. Pots, pans, and cooking utensils are in the lower cabinets. The spice rack is above the stove. Local eggs and butter are in the fridge — compliments of us!

The washer and dryer are stacked in the hallway closet. Detergent pods are on the shelf above. For the washer: load clothes, place one pod inside, close the door, select Normal cycle and press Start. For the dryer: clean the lint trap before each use (pull it straight up from the top). Select Medium Heat and press Start. Extra towels and linens are stored in the bedroom closet.

Travel Tips
Travel Tips
Prince Edward Island is best explored by car — the entire island is only about 2.5 hours end to end. The Central Coastal Drive (Blue Route) loops past our favourite beaches and lighthouses. Budget a full day. Cash is handy at farm stands and small-town shops. Most restaurants accept cards but cell service can be spotty on the north shore. Sunset is spectacular from the north shore beaches. Check the tide schedule — low tide reveals stunning sandbars at Cavendish.

Spa Maintenance
Spa Maintenance
The hot tub is located on the back deck and is maintained daily. The temperature is kept at 38°C (100°F). Please shower before entering the tub. The outdoor shower is just to the left of the deck stairs. The cover should be fully removed before use — fold it in half toward the back. Replace the cover when finished to retain heat. Please do not adjust the temperature dial or add any products to the water. If anything seems off, text us and we'll have it sorted promptly.
